Michelle Figueroa, CPA

VP, Controller

Michelle has more than 25 years of progressive leadership experience in accounting, financial reporting, and controllership across diverse industries, including healthcare, infrastructure, manufacturing, transportation, and insurance.

She began her career in public accounting at PwC and advanced through leadership roles with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Randstad, Tropical Shipping, and Johnson Controls/Tyco. She later served as Controller for Vision Group Holdings, a large, multi-site healthcare organization specializing in ophthalmology and operating across the United States and Canada. Most recently, she was Director of Financial Reporting at Transurban, a global toll-road operator and infrastructure developer, where she led financial reporting, advanced technical accounting and governance initiatives.

Recognized for building high-performing teams and improving accounting operations, Michelle brings a practical, collaborative approach to complex financial matters. She is passionate about developing people, strengthening cross-functional partnerships, and establishing scalable processes. Her leadership philosophy centers on disciplined execution, organizational alignment, and investment in people as the foundation for sustainable success.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management from The University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Outside of work, she enjoys faith-centered wellness, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
